This part of the curriculum consists of
History, Geography and Civic Studies. The History
program helps students to understand past and
present cultures and their contribution to the
current state of affairs in the world. Also, students
are encouraged to recognize humanity’s responsibility
for cultural formation and to make a commitment
to share in that task in responsible, Christ-like
ways.
The Geography program
encourages students to develop an informed and
healthy knowledge of the earth and of humanity
in the context of the inter-relationships between
the two. When studying human/land interactions,
our task as stewards of God's creation is emphasized.
