The English program involves the study of language,
literature and media as part of the created order.
It
seeks to enable students to appreciate and evaluate
various genres of literature as well as to recognize
the
powerful ways in which literature and media both
reflect and shape culture.
The program is designed to encourage
critical thinking in students, as well as an appreciation
of the ways in which they might respond in Christ-like
and redemptive ways.
