Biblical Studies at Durham Christian High School is about THINKING with the ultimate goal of challenging our students to serve God and respond to His call on their lives, and “to always be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in you.”  (I Peter 3:15). It is about expanding our view of the world and discovering how we play a part in its redemption for the cause of Christ. It is about finding God and being challenged to filter all we think, do, and say through God’s Word. It is about becoming men and women of faith, but an intelligent faith that does not shy away from challenge.

Our students are confronted with, and encouraged to consider, deep questions; to wrestle and search for answers, even when the very same seem elusive and hidden. We engage in open and honest discussion, where students’ opinions are welcomed and discussed, tested, and refined to reflect the heart of God and His character.
