How many attend Durham Christian?

We currently have 85 students enrolled from Grade 9 through Grade 12

Do you provide Bus transportation?

We currently have bus transportation routes from across Durham West (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa) and Bowmanville. Other regions including Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg and Scugog have arranged transportation. Please call the office to find out what routes are available in your region.

What are the tuition costs? 

The tuition at Durham Christian High is set at:

1 child at DCHS for the school year Tuition $14,130

2 or more children at DCHS for the school year Tuition $15,630

for the 2017-18 school year (2 semesters). This includes transportation fees.

Does Durham have the courses I need?

We offer the selections of courses necessary to achieve your Ontario Secondary Diploma (OSSD). We offer courses required for all university and college admissions. For a full listing of course selections, please visit our Academics page here.

Does Durham have a uniform?

At Durham Christian High School, we value the appearance of our students and we value that our students have a high standard of how they present themselves as a school. We use JFC as our uniform supplier which allows our students the choice of uniform options from polo’s to dress shirts in our school colours. Does Durham offer Bursaries? 

Yes, Durham Christian offers three types of Bursaries. A Bridge Bursary is for families that have children in both a Christian Elementary school and a child at Durham Christian High School. A Pastor’s Bursary is available for families serving their church communities as full time pastors. A Community Bursary is available to families who are challenged with economical circumstances. How does Durham engage the learning experience for students?
